TENSE TRM-12 digital thermal relays are designed for protecting loads from high current damage.
They allow setting overcurrent, error delay time, and operating mode.

They have internal current transformers and a 3×3-digit LED display allowing clear operation monitoring.

Operating principle

• When the power supply is connected, the relay switches on and activates the output contact, the OUT indicator lights up.

• If the set overcurrent value is exceeded, the delay time starts counting down and ERR lights up.

• When the time elapses, the relay switches off, the output contact switches, and OUT turns off.

• Depending on the selected mode, the relay resets automatically or manually:

  • Manual: manual reset required after error.

  • Semi-automatic: automatic reset 3 times, then manual reset.

  • Automatic: automatic reset on every error.

50% asymmetry

• If the difference between maximum and minimum phase current exceeds 50%, the relay enters asymmetry error mode.

• Error indicated by flashing display and ERR indicator.

• Manual reset required for return.

• Currents below 2 A are not monitored.
