This relay is digital, which means it contains a microprocessor that controls the entire operation of the device. This allows for the implementation of additional functions that not only increase ease of use but also extend the lifespan of water level sensors. 1) The current between the water level sensors does not flow continuously, but in pulses – this extends the life of electrodes immersed in water by more than 2 times! 2) The SSR-05D has a built-in pump delay time. This is a useful feature if the relay is used, for example, in a well (or wells) where the water level changes depending on the season – accordingly, there is no need to change the position of the upper sensor – it is sufficient to change the relay's delay time. 3) This level relay is also equipped with 3 LEDs that indicate how the water has filled the tank – upper, middle, and lower levels. I agree that this is convenient if the relay is installed inside the house and the tank is on the roof, in the basement, or outdoors. Electrodes (liquid level sensors) are not included.
