A relay is installed for regulating the water level in two condensate water heating systems (steam generators), which switches off the electric heater if there is no water in the tank.

Electrical circuit diagram of the water level control relay in the heater

Make the wiring according to the diagram

Com Elect. - common electrode (not included).

Tank Elect - electrode for checking the water level in the well (not included).

Boiler Elect - electrode for checking the liquid level in the boiler - tank (not included).

Res Elect - electrode for checking the liquid level for switching on the liquid heater (not included).

Res. Out - output for connecting the liquid heater.

Water Not - output for connecting a signal lamp (heater on/off)

Connect (Com Elect) to the casing of the TANK well and to the boiler (tank, container) - BOILER. If the tank is not connected, connect (Com Elect) to the liquid level control electrode.

The water level in the tank (TANK) drops - until the water level is not lower than the liquid level sensor (Tank Elect), the pump turns on and the green "motor running" indicator lights up. If the water level drops below this sensor (Tank Elect), the motor stops and the "motor running" indicator turns off.

The water level in the boiler, tank, vessel (Boiler Elect) rises - when the tank is filled up to the level electrode (Boiler Elect), the pump turns off (the green "Pump running" indicator stops glowing) and stops pumping water.

The water level in the boiler (tank, vessel) decreases - when the water level drops below the liquid level sensor (Boiler Elect), a 10-second pump start delay is activated. After the set time has elapsed, the pump motor starts (the "motor running" indicator lights up), pumping water up to the sensor level (Boiler Elect).

A level electrode is also installed in the boiler to control the electric heating of the liquid (Res Elect). When the water rises to the sensor level (Res Elect), the indicator light goes out and the water heater turns on. If the water drops below the sensor level (Res Elect), the heater turns off and the indicator light turns on. Using an electrode to measure the water level in the heater prevents electric heating from turning on in the tank-boiler when there is no water, and the indicator light helps you know if the heater is working. The indicator light can serve as a water level indicator (below-above Res Elect electrode). This option prevents heater failure (operating without liquid - idle) and saves money.

Electrodes (liquid level sensors) are not included.

Please be sure to order water level sensors and a 2 amp circuit breaker to protect the input and output channels of this device (3 pcs).
