Automatic star-delta switch - The star-delta time relay is designed for use in the initial starting of three-phase motors. When the winding is energized, it switches to star control to allow the motor to start. The star remains connected for a set time and then goes into standby mode. After the standby time, it allows switching to delta connection. Thus, it ensures efficiency by reducing the current consumption of motors that use high power during starting.

The time relay is mounted on a standard 35 mm DIN carrier.
